Outside Sales Representative / Los Angeles, CA Area

OPPORTUNITY:  AltruWood, Inc. is a growing sales and marketing company focused on sustainable forest products.  We cater to both the high-end residential building community, and the LEED/sustainable building community.  Our services include the procurement of FSC-certified and reclaimed forest products, re-manufacturing, logistics, and new product development.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated Sales Representative in the San Francisco area.  The preferred candidate has experience selling to architects, contractors, and designers.

COMPENSATION:  Base + commission commensurate on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Successful sales experience in building products industry.
* Outstanding ability to cold call, negotiate, and close business via the telephone.
* Organized with strong follow-up skills and awareness.
* Demonstrated ability to persevere, overcome objections and get the sale.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

REPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop new relationships with architects, construction companies, and home builders.
* Proactively prospect, identify leads, and pursue sales opportunities in person, via telephone, and e-mail.
* Maintain daily presence in CRM system with detailed customer interaction reports.
