Also known as Brazilian cherry, the sophistication of AltruWood’s unfinished FSC certified Jatoba Flooring lies in its subtleness.  The beauty of jatoba flooring is the way the color slightly meanders from board to board, all the while keeping an elegant orange-brown tint.   While it is not as dark as Ipe or Walnut,  it is an exotic wood that would just barely qualify as a “darker wood” and will hold its own in any setting.  A Janka hardness rating of 2350 makes it one of the hardest commercially available floors on the market that can hold up to the most rigorous of demands.
