We’re the Wood Experts

We’ve trampled through four feet of Ohio snow to unearth antique wood. We’ve lived with the Amish and worked in their woodshops. We’ve stayed in motels, hotels, no-tells and rented PT Cruisers. We annoy our friends with Janka Hardness and wood identification trivia. We’ve found century old treasures and discovered forgeries. We’ve wrestled with heat, been bitten by frost and loaded trucks with our hands. We don’t think any of this makes us special, but we know it makes us wood experts.

We’ve been sourcing and shipping wood nationwide since 2004. Founded on the belief that we could help make buying wood products from well-managed forests affordable and enjoyable, our goal is to provide exceptional service, reliable delivery and a product that you will admire for years to come.

We’ve been proud to supply projects from California to Maine and almost every state in between. From supplying FSC® Certified cedar to the Central Park Zoo, reclaimed wharf timbers to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, or hand hewn beams to a local homeowner, our goal is to service both large and small projects with equal dedication.

In 2004, we became one of the first classified lumber brokers in the U.S. to be FSC® Certified. We have watched FSC® grow and been active in supplying jobs for LEED Construction. Our commitment is to the environment and responsibly sourced lumber options. We believe that when it’s done right, wood can be made to last while having a minimal impact on the environment.

Based in Portland, Oregon, we source and ship wood from all over the country. Our goal is always minimal environmental impact and maintaining a small imprint. Call us for your lumber needs. We’d be happy to help.
