Ipe, also known as Ironwood or Brazilian Walnut is known for both its strength and deep rich color, which left unfinished weathers to a rich sliver. With the same fire rating as concrete and steel, Ipe can withstand the elements and fight off the most persistent insects. All of our FSC Ipe is harvested from well-managed forests which are certified in accordance with the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council.
